Wars of aggression, torture, and the death of habeus corpus, based on lies and manipulated pseudo-investigations and blatant cover-ups of the details of terrorizing events are not the basis for a lawful republic or a free people. Nor is the acceptance of unlawful acts made lawful in ever-successive waves of plunder which concentrate the true wealth and political power of the nation into fewer and fewer hands and poverty and sickness become the norm for increasing numbers of people. Yet, these very factors are exactly what elicit a consensus of "bi-partisan" complicity today, a state encouraged by the mass media which reach the millions, to sway their sentiments in favor of their own detriment. Any people who would be free of tyranny and capable of advancing the quality of life for their families and communities cannot accept this state of affairs and expect to be either free or prosperous.

It was clear to many of us foreign observers prior to the invasion of Iraq by the United states and its allies that the reasons therefore were spurious, concocted and served an agenda which would benefit the Bush regime. I truly believe George Bush and his colleagues need to be tried in an international court for crimes against humanity as the repercussions of their actions are no less than than those tried at Nurenburg.
